Dear Players!


We know you have all been eager to see what is hiding behind that ominous countdown, and our green fiery friends taking over the website. Public testing for Legion will begin in 7 days!

If you've been following along our development journey, you probably already knew what was coming, but in order to prepare you, we've put together this list of what to expect on the new Public Test Realm.

The first step is to get our launcher, available on the main page of the website. It's a must for Legion, and you won't be able to play without it, even when we launch. Other private server's clients WILL NOT work! The Legion client is already downloadable, although you won't be able to log in until March 12, 06:00 Server Time - when the timer ends.

The realm is STILL IN ALPHA state, meaning there are still things to be implemented and plenty of bugs to notice and fix. We decided to open it so you can see how it is coming together, and help us test it to improve everybody's experience. To see the list of available content, check our Discord.

If you want to help us improve the game, please visit ⁠https://bug.tauriwow.com/ to report the issues you found. If you are unsure about how to do it, check the other reports for formality and what we expect to see in one. Remember, we only accept retail evidence and documentation as a valid source. Don't try to compare this to any other private server.

Some standard things are missing, for example - You'll only be able to loot quest items for now, nothing else - But don't worry, these things are mostly easier and faster to implement than what is currently being worked on. From this point forward, most of the changes will be more visible with each week. 

We would like to release the pre-patch and first content tier this year, but we're not ready to disclose the actual release date just yet.
